Charity shop marketplace Thriftify launches Thriftify is an online marketplace that connects consumers with stock from charity shops across the UK. Already operational in Ireland, it launched in the UK this week. Consumers can browse stock from over 60 charity shops across the UK and Ireland. The direct-to-consumer website, based in Belfast, sells secondhand men s and womenswear, books, and household items such as CD s and DVD s. Thriftify doesn t hold stock, products are distributed by the charity shops it partners with. Shops upload products using the Thriftify app, and the company provides training and guidelines for its retail partners on imagery, merchandising, pricing and SEO.
