Chris Oakland Coliseum was built in 1966 for 25 Million Dollars. Its the second oldest facility in the National Football league. It looks its age and nobody can argue its best days have long been mothballed, along with the seats stored in the corner of the parking lot. It was designed as a multipurpose stadium and is now the only facility that shares major sports teams. The raiders had use of the coliseum by themselves for only 2 years. Its also home to the oakland as and costs 250,000 dollars to covert the facility from sport to the other. As the commissioner chris in the late 70s, raiders owner al davis wanted to renovate the facility, adding seats to generate more money.
