There appears to be no end in sight to the feud involving Wike and Sim Fubara. On Friday, November 24, Wike accused Governor Fubara of burning the Rivers Assembly.
The governor also assured that soon, the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital Board and the Healthcare Management Board will be reconstituted to handle the issues of employment in the health sector in order to utilize their quota of the ongoing recruitment of 10, 000 persons.
Wike’s rashness and lack of tact was also exemplified when upon assuming office as the FCT Minister, he began by issuing threat of demolition of peoples’ structures to the residents of the nation’s capital city. I felt pity for him when he made his inaugural speech to the FCT residents. Without doubt, Wike’s threat to FCT residents presents him in bad light as one who is insensitive or one that knows nothing about leadership and governance. He obviously knows little about his schedule and mandate as the Minister of the Federal Republic.
Earlier, Al-Shamsi, expressed his love for the Nigerian people, and his excitement that President Tinubu would attend the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 28) in Dubai.
Wike needs Fubara more than the governor needs him. I do not know the location of Nasir El Rufai now. He saw the Promised Land but has not entered. Should Tinubu reshuffle his cabinet and drop the FCT minister, na straight to Rumuepirikom be that.
