KARACHI: The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief, Fazlur Rehman, said on Tuesday that governments do not come to power through rigging , they come with the power of people’s votes. His remarks came in a public meeting hosted by the PPP in Hyderabad, under the banner of the opposition s Pakistan Democratic Movement.
Fazl said the opposition’s movement, at whose core has been the claim that the 2018 elections were rigged, will reach its destination. No one has courage to bring no-confidence motion against the premier: Fawad Ch
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Sunday said that opposition parties don’t have any plan or strategy against the government.
In a post on social-networking website, the minister said that the opposition is now thinking about no-confidence motion against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan after facing humiliation on its resignation plan.
No one has courage to bring no-confidence motion against the premier, he asserted.
The reaction came after five key leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), including PDM Head Maulana Fazlur Rehman, had opposed the suggestion of proposing a no-confidence motion against PM Imran in the National Assembly.

ISLAMABAD: The leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) handed over a memorandum to Chief Election Commission (CEC) Sultan Sikandar Raja at his office here on Wednesday.
The CEC assured the PDM delegation that the case on foreign funding would be decided soon and on merit.
Talking to newsmen after handing over the memorandum, PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal said Imran Khan would be disqualified within 24 hours once the ECP decides the foreign funding case. Former Prime Minister Raja Parvaiz Ashraf and other PDM leaders were present on the occasion.
Ahsan hoped the ECP would decide the case in a transparent way. “The PTI is also filing a case against the PML-N and the PPP but once the case against the PTI is decided, Imran Khan will be disqualified in 24 hours,” he said, adding that the case was the biggest scandal in the country’s political history.
