Boy, we can use a day like today and I think we should try to do this every day. What am I talking about? June 1st is National Say Something Nice Day. We hear so many negative and non-constructive things coming out of people s mouths..or their keyboards today.
Whatever happened to the saying that our mom told us when we were growing up, If you have nothing nice to say, don t say anything at all? Today it has changed to If you have nothing nice to say, you just say it louder and drown out everyone else.
It s amazing how someone s day can be changed for the better in a moment when you say something nice. It can change a lousy day into a good day and it only takes a little of your time.
