Amid the rising COVID-19 cases in the national capital, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced a weekend curfew in the city. The curfew will begin from 10 pm Friday and will continue till 6 am Monday, the government announced on Thursday. This comes as a nightmare for people who were getting ready for the upcoming wedding season. The Delhi government has already capped the guestlist to 100 and 200 people for close and open space events, respectively. The “bride, groom, and close family members” are exempted from the night curfew restrictions, guests attending the wedding will require a curfew e-pass.
