It has now become usual to come across SOS calls for hospital beds, Covid medicines and oxygen on social media. But, the need for donor human milk is making a steady appearance as more pregnant women get critically affected after testing positive for Covid-19.
The demand for donor milk increased with Covid positive mothers either being admitted to Intensive Care Units or in cases when the mothers succumbed to the infection. It is mostly needed in the case of preterm babies.
