Zaokoye Oshun Chatman, 27, of Shreveport, faces one count each of attempted second-degree murder and second-degree aggravated battery. The New Orleans Police Department has also obtained a warrant for Chatman’s arrest on the charge of second-degree murder in connection with a homicide that occurred there on Jan. 31 in the 5100 block of St. Claude Avenue.

A 27-year-old Louisiana man was arrested early Tuesday morning after he allegedly attacked his mother and another woman with a knife at the Shreveport hospital where they work.
ZaOkoye Chatman has been charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder and one count of aggravated second-degree battery after he allegedly walked into a medical building on the Ochsner LSU Health campus around 2:30 p.m. Monday and stabbed his mother in the head, then the other nurse.
Shreveport Cpl. Glen Heckard told KTBS that both injuries were not life-threatening.
