Students in a variety of organizations are collaborating to hold Pittsburg State University’s first Diversity Week with several events open to the public.
Women’s History Month will kick off at Pittsburg State University on March 1 with a lecture from a national speaker as part of the long running Women in Government Lecture Series.
Poet Joan Kwon Glass, whose recent collections have focused on grief, recovery, and life after great loss, will read from her works at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the Governors Room in the Overman Student Center at Pittsburg State University.
Pittsburg State University students, faculty, and community members were able to get dressed up in formal wear, eat a catered meal, hear music and poetry, and dance the night away at the Martin Luther King Jr. Ball this past weekend at the Overman Student Center.
