The junction off the Skipton bypass I VERY much welcome the decision by North Yorkshire County Council to make permanent the closure of the right turn from the A65 in to Harrogate Road into Skipton. I appreciate the long term solution there may be a roundabout but that is costly and the recent solution is a big step forward to improve safety at this junction. What I would also like to see going forward to improve road safety is the introduction of a 30mph speed limit on that Harrogate Road from the junction with the A65 to the town centre.
