tremendous hurt and rage, and in my book i tell people the origin of the evil behavior. it s real important, when something pwadz happens to you you tend to think you re the only person on the earth and a huge rock has fallen on you. megyn: you have a huge concept of fairness and unfairness. this is about evil exists. adam threw eve under the bus, talk about a shark attack. i wouldn t have eat even it. she made me do it. it started at ground zero. she had to pay a terrible rao price for that biblically speaking. people feel helpless and like the world is unfair and they can t trust anybody, they start to generalize. and their lives just constrict. and my job, which i ve done in the book, through my own stories, other people stories, to help them march through that to see sometimes was it a betrayal or consequence of something you did that came back and splashed at you or is if
oh, yes. megyn: there is a lot of betrayal out there and a lot of people who want to exact revenge after they ve been victims of it from teenagers, all the way up to people in congress. what you re seeing though is they are exacting revenge and we are getting uglier and uglier as a culture. megyn: why? because we can and it s power grabs. i remember when i was a kid saying something unkind about somebody in public. first you didn t do that. if you did it everybody came down on you. now you have somebody in congress saying people who are against the healthcare bill, my gosh, are natzis, and it s like the holocaust, that boggles my mind as a jew that somebody could put that together with i have a different opinion of the healthcare bill. megyn: you start off by saying you love revenge. the concept of revenge is fabulous. bad guys, perpetrate evil and they get it. megyn: and when somebody wrongs you you deem at them, how you re going to get back at them and they are going to live
the day. the problem is that it s probably going to do something illegal, immoral fattening and change your character, and you cannot end up swimming with the sharks. you have to maintain your character, your dignity. now justice, when and if you can get some, that is great. megyn: what about that? are you advocating turning the other cheek? because when somebody wrongs you there is a concept of justice and making things right and having there be consequences for somebody wronging you. i m not talking illegally, it would be handled in the judicial system. outside of that system what do you advocate if not revenge now. you can t always get justice and the justice won t be total or fair and you re left with the hurt feelings and the humiliation if it s been a public situation and a loss if something has been taken away from you like in fraud, like with a family member. the stuff that goes on in families, in organizations, in church organizations, religious situations. so you re left
