Okorocha cautions agitators, preaches united Nigeria
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, at the weekend, assured northerners resident in the state of adequate protection, informing them that they were ‘part and parcel’ of the state.
He gave the assurance during a meeting with the leadership of the Northern Community at the Government House, Owerri.
“This is where you live and do your business. You are stakeholders in Imo State. Sit in your houses and defend yourself and protect your house. Nobody will drive you away from the state x
“As long as you are paying your taxes, you should enjoy all protection other citizens enjoy. So, do not panic, since you are not strangers. Once you are doing your business legitimately, you are from Imo State and not tenants.

Sen. Rochas Okorocha(APC-Imo West) has called on Nigerians to collectively fight poverty to achieve the desired national development.
He made the call on Saturday during the grand finale of the 2021 Ibadan Week Celebration held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Okorocha, a former governor of Imo State, was honoured with ‘Outstanding Friend of Ibadan’ at the occasion.
NAN reports that Okorocha’s award was in recognition of his contributions to the education of indigent students through his free education programmes.

The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, has tasked well meaning Nigerians to emulate a former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha by assisting the government to reduce the number of out-of-school children through his free education programme.
The Council maintained that Okorocha’s huge investment in education which provided free and qualitative education for indigent children, is helping to solve Nigeria’s problems.
It will be recalled that Okorocha, who is also the Senator representing Imo West, was honoured with the prestigious award of Outstanding Friend of Ibadanland” by the Olubadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji (Aje Ogungunniso I).
