As of today, the total number of cases in San Francisco are 13,139. The total number of hospitalizations are 36. Sadly, the total number of deaths has reached 151, and we are seeing 5,000, almost 6,000 tests per day. Our Positivity Rate has went from a record low to now 1. 28 , and what does all this mean . We are seeing an uptick. Two weeks ago, we put a pause on our reopening efforts, and we made it clear to the people of San Francisco that we are seeing the number of cases increase, and we should be concerned. We had plans. We had plans not only to continue our reopening efforts, but we had planned to really expand so many services, so many businesses, and a number of other i think thisethings, o weeks ago, we knew we were probably headed in this direct
Looks like more widespread across the north bay by 9. Folks should be getting it even in San Francisco by 9 oclock. Then by 10 oclock it looks like parts of the east bay will be getting in and then the north is going to be covered with some maybe some moderate to heavy showers pockets of those showers with a yellow in the orange coloring on your screen and then by lunchtime its going to be even more widespread before getting through the entire bay area into the afternoon and then tonight were going to see it stick around right around 5 its going to lighten up a little bit in the north bay but were going to see it pretty heavy along the east bay and our south bay let you know how long this rain is going to last and the wind speeds at one tracking. Taking a look at traffic. Its the usual stuff as you work in to the pass with the slow and go ride. Chp working on this crash southbound 280. We have four lanes shut down right now. They havent issued a traffic alert. Traffic is still a little slow as you approach the scene. Once past that you are moving at a much better speed. The problem is that a vehicle hit a tree, that tree fell there to the roadway and then two other vehicles hit the tree and debris. Causing a bit of a problem. South 280. We will watch that.
