Some 150 well-known Punjabis cutting across the communal divide have put their signature to a statement calling upon “men and women of goodwill the silent majority” to speak its mind on the “dangerous” Punjab situation. The statement expresses concern at inaction in settling the Punjab issue fairly and condemns all acts of terrorism, violence and communal killing.
