Fulton police say items stolen from several businesses, sold online
FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Fulton Police Department said Friday morning that two people have been arrested for stealing from at least two businesses and selling the items online.
Police said Dacota Pierson, 22, of Fulton, and Clayton Duniphan, 17, of Columbia, have both been arrested for second-degree burglary and receiving stolen property.
Both are accused of breaking into Henderson Implement and Outdoor Power Company in Fulton on April 12.
Police said several items, including Stihl brand chain saws, weed trimmers, leaf blowers and other tools were taken from the business.
According to the police department, surveillance footage helped officers identify Pierson as one of the suspects. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop. Police said the Columbia Police Department took Dauniphan into custody during a different traffic stop after he was identified as a suspect.
