this is where the social and emotional learning lives, where the create activity lives, and helps to reintroduces the learning environment to our kids, because they ve been gone for so long. if you were still a principal of your school, what would be telling your kids on the return to school now? especially when kids are so anxious, and parents, too, on a safe return to school. first thing i would say is i love you, i ve missed you, welcome back and give every single child and parent a big hug. that would be the first thing i would do, and this is important. it s going to be a challenge to socially distance in classrooms with 30 to 40 kids. in places like new york, you have a lot of kids in our classroom. we have to use alternative learning spaces what i m trying to do is encourage outdoor
