TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - During the week of the winter storm the Outdoor Learning Center at All Saints Episcopal School burned to the ground.
Mike Cobb, the head of school, said the cabin, which sits on 15 acres of forest, was having power surges and ended up catching fire and burning.

Six months ahead of schedule, IUP has surpassed its $75 million goal for the âImagine Unlimitedâ campaign by more than $6 million. The campaign began six years ago with a goal of $40 million, but in 2018 the goal was raised to $75 million.
More than 22,000 donors made almost 63,700 donations, the largest of which were two alumni contributions which were higher than any one-time gifts ever given to IUP: $23 million from Dr. John and Char Kopchick and $7 million from Tim and Deb Cejka.
Khatmeh Osseiran-Hanna, IUPâs Vice President of University Advancement, says the campaign has already directly supported more than 7,700 students through scholarships, many of which are renewable.

ABC Greater Michigan Chapter announce the winners of multiple awards to recognize companies in various trades in the construction industry.
The 2020 Excellence In Construction awards is a staple for chapters across the country and recognizes outstanding projects, craftsmanship and the work of member companies. Projects were submitted in a variety of categories. The following companies were awarded, along with their category and project:

Three Rivers Corp. received three Gold Excellence in Construction Awards and a Platinum award in the Safety Training & Evaluation Process (STEP) from Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Michigan at the Excellence in Construction 2020 Awards.
Shelterhouse in Midland won the Gold Award for best GC/CM: New Construction - $5-$10 Million. This is a design/build of the 25,000-square-foot building containing 15 suites, each designated for a single family. Each suite has its own living space and kitchen area. Two suites were designed specifically to be wheelchair-accessible.
The Medina City Council, Tuesday, Dec. 1, approved a total property tax levy of $4,623,859 for taxes payable in 2021 â an increase of $231.088 (5.24%) over the $4,392,771 tax levy for 2020.
The council also approved a General Fund Budget of $3,731,800 for 2021, an increase of $297,348 (8.66%) from the $3,434,452 General Fund Budget for 2020.
City Finance Director Erin Barnhart said economic uncertainties due to the pandemic prompted her to ask city departments and consultants to maintain flat budgets for 2021.
At the meeting the City Council also approved a conditional use permit amendment that enables Three Rivers Park District to add a shower and infirmary building to the Outdoor Learning Center at Baker Park.
