if you default, you go, why did they bail out everybody and start the collapse? that did precipitate the problem. that was right. we were removed from that. i do recall the outrage on bailouts and pressure. and i hope hank and ben were surprised because that problem was dragging on for months. i think the market understood it was going to go down and add to that end their psychology and when it did go down, clearly it did disrupt the market. hindsight is 20/20. i don t like bailouts at all. i choke and say you should have bailed out lehman. we should have resolutions going forward now, we have an orderly process, the kind you put in to banks to put them in transition institution and fund them to maintain the value as they re auctioned off and broken up.
