NerdinOut Con was started in 2018 by Brad Vigesaa and Jake Scharpen, co-owners of NerdinOut, a pop culture shop featuring comics, toys and video games and is now holding it's 5th annual con.

The Battlegroundlaser tag arena They are bringing the convention back after the pandemic plugged the plug on what would have been their third one.
They announced Friday that the next NerdinOut Con will be Oct. 22-24 at the
Mayo Civic Center. The first two, in 2018 and 2019, were held at
Graham Arena on the Olmsted County Fairgrounds.
“The difference will be that it will be at a newer, nicer location,” said Vigesaa. “We’re hoping having it at the Civic Center will draw in more people.”
NerdinOut Con 2021 will be later in the year than the previous ones in an effort to make sure it can be done safely.
