Dover chamber kicks off virtual fundraising auction

DOVER Tickets have sold out for the Sweepstakes & Auction $10,000 drawing, but you don’t need a ticket to the event to participate in the virtual auction. The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce auction will go live on Monday, March 8 at 9 a.m. and will be open for bidding through Saint Patrick s Day. The auction will close on Wednesday, March 17 at 2 p.m.
It will be held online at 32auctions.com/sweeps. You can visit the site to see a preview of the items. Some of the featured items for the auction include a round of golf for four at Cochecho Country Club, sunset sail passes on the Gundalow, a total grilling package, a Tissot wristwatch, and much more.

DOVER Just over 50 tickets remained as of Thursday for the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce’s 19th annual Sweepstakes and Auction, and the winner of $10,000 in cash will be announced during a virtual event on March 17. A total of 300 tickets are being sold at a price of $50 each.
The Sweepstakes and Auction is the Chamber’s largest fundraiser and supports community events such as Apple Harvest Day, Cochecho Arts, Festival, Festival of Trees, Citizens Leadership Academy, and more. Sweepstakes tickets can be purchased online at dovernh.org/sweeps.
The event is underwritten by First Seacoast Bank, which has acted as the Sweeps underwriting sponsor since the event’s inception in 2002.
