Copies of the Ouray County Plaindealer were stolen when the paper published a front page story about an alleged assault at the home of the police chief.
In a statement, the Ouray Plaindealer said that Paul Choate harbored a grudge against the publication - and because he was not apologetic for his actions, they have decided to press charges.
