TRIBUNBATAM.id - Mount Merapi released two hot clouds of avalanches on Sunday (6/6/2021) morning.
Head of the Center for Research and Development of Geological Disaster Technology (BPPTKG) Hanik Humaida said, the first hot cloud avalanche occurred at 04.08 a.m.
The hot avalanche cloud, recorded on a seismogram, has an amplitude of 28 millimeters and lasts for 125 seconds. The glide distance is 1,600 meters to the southwest, said Hanik in his written statement.
