Members of the Lagos chapter of a pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, have thrown their weight behind Olawale Oluwo, the governorship candidate of Boot Party for the 2023 governorship election in the state. This was revealed by the Lagos State Chairman of Afenifere, Otunba Tunde Onakoya on Wednesday at the unveiling of the candidate. Onakoya slammed Bola Tinubu, claiming that the ex-governor of Lagos used the organisation to become governor and then abandoned it. Tinubu is the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
The Lagos State chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has elected Otunba Tunde Onakoya as its new chairman. Onakoya was re-elected as chairman of
