For the second time this year, parts of Otukpo main market in Benue State were razed by fire. Hajia Hamidu and other traders, who lost money and other valuables to the November fire outbreak in the market, speak about their losses in these interviews with JOHN CHARLES
What is your name and what kind of goods do you deal in?
My name is Hajia Hamidu. I am into cosmetics; I am a distributor of cosmetics in Otukpo generally.
How much did you lose to the recent fire incident in the market?
The very day I stocked my shop was when the fire broke out; so, you can imagine what I lost to the fire outbreak.
