In a moment of downtime before heading out to perform and meet fans at the Mall of America, Waterparks band members Awsten Knight, Geoff Wigington, and Otto Wood shared what it s like to be back on tour. It s really fulfilling and it reminds you that it s all real, lead vocalist Knight said. When you only see it through like your phone it s not as real but then when you meet all those people in real life you re like, you do exist? That s crazy.

Otto Wood (drums) have constructed a sonic base centered around the most important thing to any artist the fans. If you asked Knight, though, he’d almost certainly mock that it’s about wanting to have a “big house” and “nice things.” But obviously, that couldn’t be further from the truth coming from the creator who named an entire album after the band’s fandom.
Over the last year, we’ve all been subjected to staying inside and learning to love live performances through a screen. All the while, Waterparks took advantage of the time they had off the road by making strides in the next chapter of their saga.
