Evacuated were told were completely burned down. I want to point you to whats here. Theres some fire engines still here. Firefighters in overhaul mode knocking down parts of the building making sure theres no hot spots. This fire spread quickly. Were told all 32 units in two buildings that were evacuated, those apartments are gone nothing to save. Contracan kosta firefighters say it was the shared attic space that caused flames to move so quickly from the first building to the second. Firefighters said evacuations went smoothly despite all the chaos, because most people were awake. They were able to selfevacuate, leave on their own.
