The new year brings no fresh start for Ottawa's ill-fated light rail train system, after concrete debris was found on the tracks of an LRT station tunnel.
Bedbug sightings were reported on three OC Transpo buses in October, but the city never warned transit riders and won't tell CBC News which buses or routes may have been impacted.
Ottawa's light-rail transit will not open its expanded north-south line until at least April 2024, a 20-month delay to the expected delivery date in the original contract.
According to a report going before next week's transit commission, the model would allow eligible riders to buy prepaid discounted fares for a certain number of trips over a certain number of days.
