MUSKEGON, MI – All people age 65 and older in Muskegon County are expected to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus by the end of March.
That’s according to public health Director Kathy Moore, who said vaccinations then will be administered to people according to age group, in descending order. That’s in addition to essential workers, she said.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI About 86,000 people have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Kent County, according to health officials.
Health data shows 50,261 have received two doses for full vaccination. Since last week, between Feb. 11 and Feb. 18, about 25,000 doses were administered across the county.

Meijer COVID vaccines are the best bet for those ages 65-75 in Muskegon County

That’s because in Muskegon County, Meijer is the primary provider currently vaccinating that age group.
Mercy Health and the Muskegon County health department also are providing vaccinations, and are focusing on older adults, essential workers and at-risk populations.
