Hello folks,
So when I started writing this newsletter, early on Thursday afternoon, it looked as though Sheldon Silver would serve only eight months in prison for his very substantial crimes. But as I was wrapping up my especially profound thoughts on his seeming freedom and why it was a mistake, news broke that Silver is headed back to prison after all.
