A Lithonia man, Otis Dennis Walker, has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison after killing his girlfriend, Aleka Simmons, and shooting DeKalb County Police Department Officer Derek Nunn on Aug. 1, 2019.
Otis Walker was found guilty in DeKalb County for the 2019 murder of his girlfriend and for shooting a police officer four times leading to an ensuing manhunt.
