The Rhino Blues Masters series was the one blues collection that both neophytes and long-time fans heartily embraced. Spanning 15 volumes while covering pretty much the entire history of the genre, it was originally released in the early 1990s, and is out of print now. Rhino went all out in this endeavour and many of the important tracks in this series were seeing their first issuance in the compilation format while others were reissued for the first time since the advent of the 78-rpm phonograph record. This show brings you Vol 1: Urban Blues and Vol 5: Jump Blues Classics. The artists run the gamut from the very familiar like Otis Rush and Charles Brown to the relatively obscure like Red Prysock, Ann Cole and Bullmoose Jackson.Red PrysockJump Blues ClassicsHand Clappin Big Joe TurnerJump Blues ClassicsShake, Rattle & RollLouis PrimaJump Blues ClassicsJump, Jive & WailWynonie HarrisJump Blues ClassicsGood Rockin TonightRoy BrownJump Blues ClassicsRockin at Midnight
