The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has linked the five men accused of killing two brothers on a farm in Mpumalanga to the Ku Klux Klan.

The red berets were reacting to the decision by the Piet Retief Magistrate’s Court to grant bail to the five men accused of the killing of the Coka brothers.
The party described the granting of bail to the five suspects as a “miscarriage of justice that demonstrates an untransformed judiciary”.
The EFF’s provincial office released a statement on Saturday.

JOHANNESBURG - The five men accused of killing the Coka brothers on a farm in Mpumalanga have been granted bail.
Daniel Malan, Cornelius Greyling, Othard Klingberg, Michael Sternberg and Senzele Yende s bail hearing was held in the Piet Retief Magistrate s Court on Friday morning.
Zenzele and Mgcini Coka were shot during an altercation in Mkhondo earlier this month, where a clash allegedly erupted when seasonal farmers enquired about why they were not re-hired this year.

THE state believes that the five men who are alleged to have killed the two Coka brothers on Pampoenkraal Farm in Mpumalanga last Friday had a common purpose to commit the murder.
It presented the information in the Mkhondo Magistrates Court yesterday where the bail bid of Daniel Malan (38), Cornelius Greyling (26), Othard Klingberg (58), Michael Sternberg (31) and Zenzele Yende (48) was being held.
Prosecutor Robert Molokoane told the court that the murders of Amos Coka (36) and Zenzele Coka (40) were conspired.

A STAND-OFF broke out between police and protesters trying to remove a barbed wired fence blocking the N2 in the direction of Mkhondo Magistrates Court.
Stun grenades had to be used to break up the protesters calling for the suspects not to be granted bail.
Daniel Malan, Cornelius Greyling, Othard Klingberg, Michael Sternberg and a fifth suspect are expected to apply for bail for the murder of brothers Amos (36) and Zenzele Coka (40).

FARM dwellers in Pampoenkraal Farm, Emabola in Mpumalanga are calling for the government to protect them from the abuse they say theyâre facing.
They said this during the funeral service of Amos Coka (36) and Zenzele Coka (40) on Saturday, 17 April.
The Coka brothers were allegedly shot and killed by farmers last Friday.
Itâs alleged that they were part of a group that was trying to rescue a friend who was allegedly taken and assaulted by the farmers.
