Two hospitalized following apartment fire in Otay Mesa

(KGTV) Two people were taken to the hospital following an apartment fire in Otay Mesa Wednesday night, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The fire started on the 1180 block of 30
th Street around 5:30 p.m.
Crews say two people were taken to the hospital. Two cats also died in the fire, according to the department.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
