4:30 a.m. Residential carbon monoxide alarm sounding, Brightside Avenue. With Captain Newlands in command, they located a faulty detector.
Wednesday, Jan. 13
5:54 p.m. Tractor trailer vs. car accident with the driver of the car trapped, Route 146 south just beyond the W. Main Street exit. The car was wedged between the cab of the truck and the guardrail. The occupant had non-life-threatening injuries, the Jaws of Life and several other rescue tools were used to remove the roof of the car and move the patient. MedStar Millbury ALS transported the patient. Car 1, Car 2, Rescue 1 and Engine 1 responded.
