The MOU was signed by MMDA acting chair Carlo Dimayuga III, JoyRide PH Vice President Jerico Meneses, and Angkas Chief Executive Officer George Royeca at the MMDA headquarters in Makati City. MANILA - A portion of Tomas Claudio Street in Manila will be closed to traffic for four months beginning August 5 to give way for the construction of the Skyway Stage 3. In a traffic advisory on Wednesday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said a portion of the said street will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until November 30. "Affected motorists are advised to take alternate routes," the advisory read. Motorists coming from Valenzuela St., Sta. Mesa going to Quirino Ave. or Beata St. in Pandacan are advised to take Ramon Magsaysay Avenue then turn left at Lacson Avenue (Nagtahan), straight ahead to Quirino Avenue or turn left at Jesus Street to their destination. Those coming from Osmena Highway headed to Valenzuela St. in Sta. Mesa may go straight ahead to Quirino Avenue to Mabini Bridge and to the bridge down the ramp, turn right at Ramon Magsaysay Avenue and right turn again at Valenzuela Street to their destination.
