WOMEN account for nearly half of this country’s farmers, and Helen’s Daughters is doing its part to help to develop the next generation of female farmers. Last Thursday, April 11, 2024, the organisation awarded scholarships to Zaylie Lewis and Kemelia Samuel, both students of the St Vincent Community College Division of Technical and Vocational Education.They are enrolled in the Agriculture Science and Entrepreneurship programme. The scholarship will go towards assisting.
