Courtesy of Wentworth Gallery Mickey Hart will certainly be busy this summer with Dead & Company’s final tour, but he’s making time in his schedule to help show off his art.
The rocker is set to make two rare in-person art gallery appearances to promote his latest art collection, the Art of Mickey Hart. The first will take place at the Wentworth Gallery at Tysons Galleria in McLean, Virginia, on June 4 at 2 p.m., followed by an appearance at the Wentworth Gallery at Short Hills Mall in New Jersey on June 23 at 6:30 p.m.
“These visual representations from my sonic-driven world are snapshots into the music I am making,” Mickey shares. “The basis of all life is vibratory, from the cosmos to human organism to the rhythms of nature and the music that come from what we make, from what we call culture. These are the worlds of rhythm that envelop us on a daily basis. Understanding these rhythms is essential in our daily lives.”

Suspect seen in Cobb County shortly after shooting, police say
Police in Cobb County said Deion Patterson was seen on video in the county around 12:30 p.m. ET, roughly 20 minutes after the shooting, though it s unclear if he s still in the area.

@gwith99/Twitter(NEW YORK) A seventh person has been confirmed dead after a massive pileup Monday in Illinois caused by a sudden dust storm, officials said.
Thirty-seven people were transported to area hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to critical, Illinois State Police said. Victims range in age from 2 to 80 years old.
The crash took place at about 11 a.m. local time on Interstate 55 in Montgomery County, officials said. Car accidents were reported on both north and southbound lanes of I-55 for a 2-mile stretch.
Approximately 72 vehicles are known to be involved in the incident, including two semitrucks that caught fire, police said.
The deceased victims were all found dead at the scene. The seventh fatality wasn t discovered until Tuesday, as the remains of what was initially believed to be one person were actually two, police said. The "severity of the crash masked the remains," police said in an update.

The band will kick off their North American tour on Tuesday, May 2, in Vancouver. To coincide with the launch they’ve teamed up with the online outlet Fang TV to share some new content, including videos from past and recent shows, video clips, interviews and more.
The monthlong content will start at 8:30 p.m. PT, just when the band takes the stage in Vancouver and they promise there will even be some footage from the tour. Fans can watch at neilfinn.com and fangradio.com.
