In the two days following Tesla’s disappointing earnings call, Tesla stock has gone down by more than 12%. This has cost Elon Musk $15 billion personally and has cost Tesla $118 billion as a company.
Through the company’s online parts catalog, Tesla has unintentionally revealed a new refreshed Model 3+ with ‘Plaid’ badging. In the same document, Tesla has also shown off several new wheel designs including 19 & 20 inch “Warp” wheels.
Tesla has released several new details about the Cybertruck. They include an 800-volt battery and powertrain architecture, an industry-leading 14-inch suspension travel, 125,000 annualized installed production capacity, and a November 30 delivery date.
Tesla has filled with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China for two new Model Y variants. Among other changes, the 2 Model Y variants are listed with a radar option which suggests HW4 computer launch.
Tesla is currently conducting an extensive Cybertruck testing regiment ahead of the start of the vehicle's volume production. While testing, a release candidate Cybertruck has been spotted pulled over by a police officer in California.
