TACLOBAN CITY – The people of Ormoc City as well as its local government are showing the kind of discipline when it comes to lining up for something that is considered essential during this time of pandemic.
Over 1,400 people have filled the Ormoc Superdome where the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) distributed P6-million worth of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) last Friday.
In a Facebook post, city Mayor Richard Gomez said they have been strictly adhering to health protocols since they first gave assistance to each family when the lockdown was implemented last year due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
