SCRANTON, Pa. One of the first buildings on the grounds of Johnson College is coming down.
Demolition is underway at Richmond Hall.
The building was donated more than 100 years ago to Orlando Johnson, who had a dream of opening a trade school.
Johnson College says that Richmond Hall is coming down to make way for a new building.
Construction on that building is scheduled to start later this year.

The NBL 2021 season is finally upon us, after months of delays due to the ongoing COVID situation that is not only affecting our country, but also the world. I’m sure we are all excited to watch some basketball, but it’s time to get to the serious stuff!
There has been so much movement from players and teams this season, but the NBL needs to be commended with the retention of import players into the NBL, even though the import spots were changed from three per team to two. This shows that the NBL, Australia and New Zealand are seen as safe places to work and a legitimate pathway to the NBA.
This NBL off-season lasted nearly an entire year. Think about that for a second.
We had a pandemic disrupt everything, players opt in and out of contracts, salary cuts across the entire league, the start to the new season pushed back and back, and teams re-located then re-relocated some more.
