Scotland’s green economy is integral to Orkney Harbour Authority’s business model, according
to Business Development Manager Paul Olvhoj FROM the Standing Stones of Stenness to the Ring of Brodgar, Orkney is world-renowned for its wealth of ancient history. However, when it comes to building new business and driving the economy, the island is very much focused on the future. This is evident at Orkney Harbour where a masterplan is charting exciting new routes, with a £230 million infrastructure vision to position Orkney at the forefront of the drive for a cleaner, greener Scotland. “Having launched in August, the masterplan is in phase one with a focus on the design of facilities that will provide the future framework for not only our operations but Orkney as a whole,” says Paul Olvhoj, Business Development Manager at Orkney Harbour Authority.
