Quezon City authorities have shut down three more establishments, including a repeat violator, after they were found operating as bars in violation of quarantine protocols against COVID-19.
Police said those ordered closed on Friday were Batcave Food/Music Bar on Visayas Ave.; KARMA Lounge in Barangay South Triangle; and Guilly’s Island Restaurant and Bar on Tomas Morato Ave., which also received a closure order from the local government in September 2020.
This came after the Quezon City Police District and the city’s Business Permits and Licensing Department conducted inspections at various establishments on Thursday night to ensure their compliance with minimum health standards.
