DES MOINES, Iowa - The Des Moines man accused of involvement in violent protests at the U.S. Capitol last week is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday
Doug Jensen is set to appear before a federal judge in Des Moines at 2 p.m. after being arrested by the FBI over the weekend.
Jensen was identified in numerous videos and photographs leading a group confronting Capitol Police last Wednesday.
He faces numerous charges, and has been fired from his job as a laborer for a masonry contractor (Forrest & Associates Masonry)
Jensen will appear before Judge Helen Adams at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa in Des Moines.
