Winchester Coroners Court A SOUTHAMPTON man was discovered by his decorator after he had fallen down the stairs at his home, an inquest opening heard. Jonathan Price, 50, was having renovation work carried out at his home in Orchards Way when the accident took place on December 8. He was admitted to Southampton General Hospital the same day but died the following day on December 9. An inquest was opened into his death by area coroner Jason Pegg at Winchester Coroner’s Court. A post mortem carried out by Dr Sanjay Jogai found that Mr Price died of a traumatic brain injury caused by a fall from height.
