Subscriber only A former mental health nurse walked into a Logan police station to confess he was having homicidal thoughts about stabbing his then-wife, the Beenleigh District Court heard on Friday. Steve Andelkovic, 48, pleaded guilty to one count of common assault, one count of threatening violence and one count of using a carriage service (phone) to threaten to kill. The court heard Andelkovic, from Lowood, worked as a clinical nurse in the mental health ward of The Royal Brisbane and Women s Hospital until February, 2018, when he began the process of separating from his then-wife.
