ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - A pedestrian trying to cross the road was hit by a car and killed in Orangeburg on Wednesday night, the South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed.
It happened around 7:10 p.m. on North Road near Willington Drive. That’s on the north part of the city near the North Road Plaza and Orangeburg Preparatory Schools.
Troopers said the pedestrian was crossing North Road when the driver of a Toyota sedan hit the person.
