SANTA BARBARA, Calif COVID-19 cases in California and Santa Barbara County are dropping. The California Department of Public Health reports a positivity rate of 1.3%. Santa Barbara County’s low new cases and case rate allowed the county to reopen in the ‘Orange Tier’ of reopening.

As COVID-19 cases continue to decline, managers at Figueroa Mountain in Santa Maria say more customers are coming into the restaurant, but they’re barely keeping up with the demand.
