Orange County ending compliance “Strike Teams” WFTV.com News Staff © WFTV.com News Staff Mayor Jerry Demings ending Orange County s “Strike Team.” Today, Mayor Jerry Demings will honor the compliance “Strike Team” that was formed during reopening in July 2020 to make sure businesses in Orange County complied with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s COVID-19 guidelines. The “Strike Team” inspected over 11,000 businesses with an overall compliance rate of 99%. The team also provided more than 7,000 Orange County businesses with signage and personal protective equipment. © Provided by WFTV Orlando The “Strike Team” was made up of five teams, with three members per team, including an Orange County Code Compliance officer, a Florida Department of Health and Orange County representative, and an Orange County Fire Marshal Office representative.
