The palace has not yet said which type of cancer hes been diagnosed with, but the announcement that hes able to get back to public duties is being seen as an encouraging sign, and a boost for the royal family which is coming to terms with the fact that not only the king but also the princess of wales have recently been diagnosed with cancer.
