Dave Zajac, Record-Journal December 16, 2020 08:41AM By Mariah Melendez, Cheshire Herald staff CHESHIRE — The School Modernization Committee presented options to the Town Council and public last month, and now some costs are being attached to the proposals — numbers that have raised concerns among members of both groups. “I have spoken with the councilors and their major concerns lie with being included in the process and in the costs of the options presented,” said Councilor Sylvia Nichols. “The Councilors must know that the options are fiscally responsible, and they will look at all alternatives to find a better cost. The long-term plan of $200 million will not fly with them, the Committee will lose them, and a Council majority is needed to vote to approve any project.”
